Introduction

RAIM, IFPS, and ADSB Validation 

This simulation will provide an overview of the IFPS and ADSB validation process, and how to configure automatic RAIM validation. 

We estimate that this will take 1 minute to complete.

This topic reviews the manual methods for RAIM, IFPS, and ADSB validation for a Flight Plan. 

Note: These validations are configured in the Airline Code Parameters, if enabled.

The topic will begin with a computed flight plan followed by a demonstration of all three types of validation.

Detailed Explanation 

Click the Reports tab.

Click the IFPS Validate button.

The IFPS, RAIM, and ADSB Validation buttons in the Reports Screen allow for a manual trigger of the validation process.

Click the RAIM Validate button.

The Green Check mark indicates successful validation.

HINT 

If you want to see the RAIM validation on the Flight Plan, a format change is required.

RAIM Validation can be configured to occur automatically with each computation via Airline Code Parameters.

Click the ADSB Validate button.
