This topic covers the Remarks group on the Plan Screen. You will learn how each option in the group is used by the N-FP system.

Detailed Explanation 

Remarks group

The Remarks group on the Plan screen contains two tabs: the Remarks and ATC Remarks tab.

 Below each tab is a text-entry window that can be used to enter general remarks (under the Remarks tab) and remarks relative to the flight plan specifically for air traffic control (under the ATC Remarks tab). The remarks will appear on the flight plan as dictated by the format specified.

Click the ATC Remarks tab.

Once remarks have been added, a small document icon will appear on the Remarks or ATC Remarks tab. 

Click the Reports tab.

You can view the added remarks once the flight has been computed. 

Click the Send to ATC button.
