WebFOMS Additional Fuel Configuration

For an overview of the WebFOMS features see the Aircraft Characteristics screen. The features described there can be applied to all screens.

Edit

For instructions on how to make modifications on the WebFOMS screens, see Modify, View Aircraft Characteristics. It uses the Aircraft Characteristics as an example but can be applied to all WebFOMS screens.

Screen

Screen is the default view when you first go to a WebFOMS screen. When Screen is selected you can view all records that exist in the system.  Select the arrow in the first field of the WebFOMS screen to access the drop-down menu to view the list of available records.

Only items that exist in the database are shown in the drop-down list.

This program allows you to set a default additional fuel amount based on city pair, ALC, and equipment type.

Note: The Reason is pulled from the defaults you set up in Airline Code Parameters under Weights & Fuels. If you don't have a reason set up in the ACP menu no reasons will be available for selection.

Note: This field is not mandatory, however if you add a destination you must add an origin.

ALC

Enter the appropriate 3-letter Airline Code that you want displayed on the flight plan if this is sub-charter flight.

Note: The default value for this field is your own airline’s code. This code will prefix the flight number of any flight plan generated for this flight.

Enter the aircraft type designator for the equipment to be used for this flight (e.g. L1011).

Series

Enter the series designation of the aircraft (e.g., 400) or enter <?> to search for the desired series.

Note: Engines are unavailable if you don't enter an aircraft series.

Weight Units

Enter the units of weight.

Reason

This field is populated from the defaults you set up in Airline Code Parameters under Weights & Fuels. If you don't have a reason set up in the ACP menu no reasons will be available for selection. Enter a fuel amount in the fields that follow.

Note: The following descriptions represent the typical access and privileges afforded to users designated as Dispatch Managers/Supervisors. Users with dispatcher privileges will have limited access to a subset of the screens presented.
