WebFOMS Airport Configuration

For an overview of the WebFOMS features see the Aircraft Characteristics screen. The features described there can be applied to all screens.

Edit

For instructions on how to make modifications on the WebFOMS screens, see Modify, View Aircraft Characteristics. It uses the Aircraft Characteristics as an example but can be applied to all WebFOMS screens.

Screen

Screen is the default view when you first go to a WebFOMS screen. When Screen is selected you can view all records that exist in the system.  Select the arrow in the first field of the WebFOMS screen to access the drop-down menu to view the list of available records. Note: Only items that exist in the database are shown in the drop-down list.

This program stores the airport RNP AR levels and curfew buffer times for an airport.

Fields

Field

Description

ICAO

Enter the four-letter code assigned to the airport by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or the alpha-numeric FAA code, if no ICAO code has been assigned. The IATA code and airport name will fill in automatically if the airport exists in the system.

ALC

Enter the ALC.

RNP AR Levels

Enter the Airport RNP AR levels in nautical miles. This field is used in the RNP AR checkbox on the Aircraft Characteristics FOMS screens. When RNP AR is checked, an RNP AR check is performed provided that the aircraft is configured for checks and that the airport data has been entered for landing airports.

Buffer Times

Start

Enter the number of minutes to add as a buffer to the start time of the curfew.

End

Enter the number of minutes to add as a buffer to the end time of the curfew.

Usage

Enter whether the curfew applies to <A> arrivals, <D> departures, or <B> both.

The buffer times are applied to the start and end of curfew, and will also be applied to the runway and airport procedure (SID, STAR and Approach) validity times.

Updated

Enter the initials of the person who last updated the screen information. The current date will update when the file is saved.

Note: The following descriptions represent the typical access and privileges afforded to users designated as Dispatch Managers/Supervisors. Users with dispatcher privileges will have limited access to a subset of the screens presented.
