This program will allow you to view descent performance data. The values displayed are:
Time, in minutes,
Burn in pounds (or kilograms),
and still-air Distance in nautical miles.
These values represent descent data for a typical descent weight under Standard ISA conditions. Adjustments for the effects of wind and temperature are made by the Flight Plan program.
The available modes are:
Graph
Screen
Hardcopy
Quit
Graph Mode
Graph mode allows you to enter criteria and have the information displayed in a graph. The graph opens in a separate browser window.
Screen Mode
The report selection screen will allow you to specify the aircraft, the descent profile, auxiliary profile, number of engines, the range of ISA Deviations, and the range of weights for which you want to have data reported.
When the report is displayed on screen you may press <Enter> to go to the next page, or by entering <Q> you may escape from the report at any time.
Hardcopy Mode
Hardcopy mode functions in the same manner as Screen mode, with the exception that the report is sent to the printer, hence you do not have the ability to terminate the report in midstream.
Quit Mode
Entering <Q> from the Command Line will return the Next PROGRAM-NUMBER prompt so that you have the option of going directly to your next program if you know the menu number, or of returning to the previous menu if you simply press <Enter>.
Note: The following descriptions represent the typical access and privileges afforded to users designated as Dispatch Managers/Supervisors. Users with dispatcher privileges will have limited access to a subset of the screens presented.
