2 Detailed Explanation
Saving a route
This training illustrates how to save a recently generated ad hoc route. For creating a new saved city-pair route, without using the Plan Interface, refer to the City-Pair Route training module.
Click
the Save button.
Once a route has
been generated, the option to save the route is enabled.
Note: Computed "CMP" routes cannot be saved. Only the initially
generated route can be saved.
Click
the Route number input
field.
A unique route
number can be entered for the route to be saved.
The number does
not have to be the next sequential number, i.e. 1, 3, 15, 60, 99.
Only one
instance of each unique number may be used for each city-pair.
Enter 01 into
the Route number field.
If a user so
desires, the origin and/or destination runway may be saved along
with the route.
The departure
and arrival procedures are automatically saved as part of the
route.
Click
the Also save route to this
cycle check
box.
Customers with more than one ALC have the option to set a specific ALC for the saved route.
The dual AIRAC functionality allows for automatic inclusion of new routes in the next AIRAC Cycle's file.
Click
the MFL input
field.
Press
the
key.
Enter 310 into
the MFL field.
Click
the Delete date dropdown
button.
Click
the Months from now list
item.
Users can select from a variety of options when setting the length of validity for the route.
Click
the Months from now input
field.
Enter 06 into
the Months from now field.
Click
the Comments input
field.
Enter test
saved route into the Comments field.
Click
the Ok button.
Click
the Route 1 list
item.
Once the route is
saved, the route analysis is automatically recalculated.
Note: "Route 1" is now included in the route
analysis field.
