1 Introduction
Automation Defaults
This topic will show users how to set up automation defaults for their flight planning package.
We estimate that this will take 3 minutes to complete.
2 Detailed Explanation
Automation Defaults tab
Use the Automation
Defaults to create automation profiles and add or edit a list of
automation events for that profile. You can have multiple
profiles and apply a profile to all flights or to a list of
flights.
You can select
a default profile, using the Profile Name field, in the Airline
Code Parameters FOMS screens. If you select a default profile,
all flights use the selected profile. You can use the Automation
Profile Name field in the Input Defaults WebFOMS screen to
automatically add an automation profile to a flight if the
records match. You don't have to use profiles, you can leave the
Name field blank and automation will work for all flights.
