The Flight Groups feature is used to filter the flight list so individual Dispatchers only see the flights that they are responsible for. Dispatchers also have the option to see flights for another desk, if required. The purpose of this program is to allow the user to create and manage flight groups.
Normally, the Dispatch Manager will assign flights to their individual Dispatchers based on their operations (domestic vs. international). Refer to the Add a Flight Group article for instructions.
The available modes are:
In the Group/Desk field, enter the flight group name. This can include letters or numbers, but it is limited to eight characters. In the Description field, you can provide a description of that Group/Desk.
Entering <Q> from the command line will permit you to enter the menu number for the next program you wish or to return to the last displayed menu by pressing <Enter>.
Refer to Creating and Managing Flight Groups article for further information.
Note: The following descriptions represent the typical access and privileges given to users designated as Dispatch Managers/Supervisors. Users with Dispatcher privileges will have limited access to a subset of the screens presented.
