When flying in IFPS airspace, you can get a set number of routes from EUROCONTROL CFMU and include them in the route analysis. They will be labeled (e.g. IFPS-1, IFPS-2). Parameters in the Routes group in the Route Data tab on the Airline Code Parameters WebFOMS screen. To enable this feature you must set Analysis Types to I (IFPS). The IFPS Routes field allows you to select the number of route analysis to perform.
Note: CFMU is responsible for ATFM (ATC slots / CTOT allocations).
The following steps will outline how to complete this.
Click the Route green arrow button.
Click the Recompute route analysis list item.
Click the Route Opt: 100% menu item.
Note: In previous functionality, the Route Analysis sorts all applicable city-pair routes, optimized routes, CDR Routes, Preferred Routes, and Play Book Routes.
To configure the type of routes considered during the Route Analysis, access the Airline Code Parameters interface, via the Maintenance Tab.
Click the Maintenance menu item.
Click the Airline Code Parameters hyperlink.
Click the Route Data menu item.
Click the Edit button.
Click the Analysis Types input field.
Enter “ I ” into the Analysis Types field.
Note: The new enhancement includes an Analysis Type option, " I ", for IFPS Routes.
N-FP can now query EUROCONTROL during the analysis, obtaining a number of IFPS Routings based on ORIG-DEST, Flight Level, and other flight parameters.
Enter 2 in the IFPS Routes input field.
Click the Save button.
Click the Route green arrow button
Click the Recompute route analysis list item.
Note: If a user has the Analysis Types set to I (IFPS) they won't have to select the Recompute route analysis... list item.
Click the Route IFPS-1: 100% menu item.
