This program allows the operator to maintain a data file of fuel costs for all airports from which the airline may operate. The program allows for six levels of price as a function of volume purchased. It also accommodates the difference between domestic and bonded fuel prices. Additional information on the Supplier, Handling Agent, etc., may also be stored for easy reference. The date which each station’s fuel price record was created or updated is automatically recorded. Refer to the Fuel Costs Fields for a description of the fields used.
The modes available are:

Video

Quit.
Edit mode
Enter the ICAO, IATA, or FAA code for the airport for which you wish to amend the fuel cost record. If a fuel cost record for the selected station has previously been created, it will be displayed. Otherwise, a Record NOT FOUND warning displays.
Edit the fields using backspace to delete individual characters or <Ctrl>-X to clear a field. The text lines for Supplier, Fuel Handler, and Remarks can be edited using the left or right arrow keys to move the cursor within the line. Backspace deletes the character at the cursor position and any new characters will be inserted at the cursor position.
Use <Ctrl>-E to escape to a confirmation prompt at any time without having to step through each field. Enter <Q> if you wish to leave the original values unchanged.
Delete mode
To delete a record of fuel costs, enter the Delete mode and type in the ICAO, IATA or FAA code for the airport that you wish to delete the fuel cost record. The fuel cost record for that station displays along with the prompt Really DELETE?. Enter <Y> to delete the record or enter <N> to leave the record untouched.
Video mode
Enter the Video mode, and enter the ICAO, IATA, or FAA code for the airport that you wish to view the fuel cost record. If you are not sure of the correct code, you may enter your best guess. If no record exists, the next available record on file, sorted alphabetically by ICAO code, will display.
You may page through the data file using the up and down arrow keys. If you page beyond either the upper or lower limits of the file, you will be returned to a blank record. You may also return to a blank record at any point by pressing <Enter>. At the blank record, you can enter another airport code if you wish. To escape from the Video mode altogether, enter <Q> or press <Enter> twice.
Screen mode
The Screen mode allows you to view more than one record at a time. When this mode is entered, the screen changes to range entry. Enter the ICAO or FAA codes for the range of airports that you wish to review the fuel cost records. The default values are 0 and ZZZZ.
Note: IATA codes must not be used to define the range since the file is indexed on the ICAO codes of the airports and not the IATA codes.
Use <Enter> to page through the report or enter <Q> to quit.
Hardcopy mode
This mode functions in the same manner as the Screen mode, except that the report is directed to the system printer.
Quit mode
Enter <Q> from the command line to exit the program. You will have the option of entering the next program menu number directly or defaulting to the last used menu screen.
