DTN is retiring the use of their legacy flight hazard forecasts and are being replaced by EFH and EFP files.
Deprecated:
TEL - wind source containing Legacy Flight Hazards and 0.5 GRIB NWS winds
DTN - Hourly RAP Hazard Model with legacy flight hazards.
New sources:
EFH - New Global Enhanced Flight Hazards (Extended flight hazards). These will replace legacy at six hour intervals.
ERP - New North American RAP Model (Extended RAP). These will replace legacy RAP(DTN) at one hour intervals.
These will be HAZARD SOURCE options.
There is no TEL WIND replacement. Customers will be switched to NWS winds, which have been enhanced to have 0.5 degree grid coverage (the same as TEL previously was).
