Let's begin with a flight that has already been computed and filed.
Click the Progress menu item.

The system will
automatically shade waypoints expected prior to the current time.
To access the manual update function, click on the desired waypoint in the list.
All off-route positions are labeled with OFF in the progress list. The off-route positions are not shown on the map.
Adding an off-route position, will not affect the projected values for any other positions already in the list. The progress list will automatically refresh the actual/projected values of existing positions that might have changed for other reasons, such as ACARS reports, or other users potentially working on the same flight.
This will also update the timestamp value in the Last Updated label.The operation will also fail if a position with the same name and same time overhead already exists in the list. In this case, the following error message will be displayed in the dialog’s message bar: “A position with the same name and time overhead already exists.”
Click the VXV+K7+V list item.
Click the Time overhead input field.
The pop-up will allow manual entry of Time, Fuel, Flight Level, and Wind Component for the selected waypoint.
Enter 011530 into the Time overhead field.
Click the OK button.
By adding a 10 minute delay to the actual time for waypoint VXV, the system has also added an expected 10 minute delay to the "Actual" times for the subsequent waypoints.
To accommodate off-route position reports, users can enter ad hoc waypoints via the "Add" button.
Click the Add button.
With the off-route pop-up, you can enter any waypoint within the system database, then a Time, Fuel , Flight Level, and Wind Component for that waypoint.
Click the Cancel button.
