1       Introduction

Permit - Country Warnings

In this topic we will review how to add or remove a permit warning for specific countries.

We estimate that this will take 3 minutes to complete.

2       Detailed Explanation

Add Country Warnings

The Country Warnings tab is used to query, add, and update country warnings (you can choose if a warning or error message is displayed). The warning or error message is displayed in the Permit Remarks tab in the Remarks group if you compute a flight that doesn’t have a permit for the country it is either departing/landing in or flying over.

This topic will show you the options available when you add a country warning.

An ALC could have aircraft registered to a country different than the country of their ALC. For example an ALC could be based in Canada and have aircraft registered in the United States. An error message can be generated for only the aircraft registered in the United States.

This feature can be turned off by deselecting the Permit Check/Check Permits checkbox on the Plan or Route Builder screen.
